One of the five “mother” sauces, this is a classic white sauce with a creamy, full flavour. It is extremely versatile and can be used as a base for soups, dips or in main dishes such as tagliatelle, lasagnes, stroganoff and gratin. Bain-marie, microwave and freeze-thaw stable.
