We place great importance on supporting and working with the communities in which we operate, and take our social responsibilities very seriously, whether they concern the people who live and work in and around our sites, or society as a whole.

We have a tradition of putting something back into the community and we do so in many ways. Whether it’s investing time, energy or resources, we are able to reach out to a diverse range of families and groups in our communities.

Our goal is to develop long-term relationships with a number of organisations that share common interests with our own, in areas that we consider critical to our company's future. For example, one area of great importance is the nurturing of food technology and food science expertise and attracting these talents into the food manufacturing sector.

A number of local community projects have benefitted from Macphie involvement including: Young Enterprise, School's Industry Challenge (Primary and Secondary School level), Nursery Groups, Sports Groups, Special Olympics and Agricultural Groups.
