Quality is fundamental to Macphie, and forms a cornerstone of our company culture in terms of both our products and our people. For our customers this is embodied in the high quality of the products we sell and the level of service we deliver. Principles of food safety have always been a long standing part of the company's 'Quality & Environmental Policy'.
Our commitment to providing quality products and services is reinforced by our accreditation to ISO9001 (2000) and our certification to the British Retail Consortiums (BRC) - Higher Level Approval (via EFSIS), for all of our sites. Additionally, as an Environmentally responsible producer, we were delighted to achieve accreditation to ISO14001 in 2003.
We aim to continuously explore ways of improving the quality of our products and services, so that we can meet the changing needs of our customers.
Innovation
When it comes to innovation, we’re proud to be known as leaders throughout the industry. Our experienced development team calls upon a well-established network of advisors, use up-to-date market research, and operate state-of-the art pilot plant facilities. Our appetite for innovation is not limited solely to product development, as we also have specialist teams working on the latest developments in packaging and processing. In addition, our technical bakers and development chefs are available to ensure that you get the best out of a product or process in your own production environment.
Service
At Macphie we believe in providing first-class service, tailoring our service to our customers’ requirements on an individual basis, and trying to anticipate your needs. Although we offer a broad range of branded off-the-shelf products, the flexibility in our production plants means that we can offer customised ingredients, tailored for particular markets or individual customers.
