We are committed to the environment, complying with environmental legislation and aim to minimise our impact on the environment. The Glenbervie manufacturing site is accredited to the ISO14001:2004 standard for its environmental management system and best environmental practice is being maintained at our Tannochside and GAA sites.

Environmental management is driven by our quality and environmental policy which makes specific commitments to complying with environmental legislation as a minimum standard, continual environmental improvement, training staff in environmental issues and preventing pollution. The EMS has been integrated into our existing Macphie Management System, which is in itself accredited to ISO9001:2000; this has led to a far more robust management system which truly reflects our work ethics.

A number of objectives and targets have been set as part of the environmental management system to ensure continous environmental improvement. These include waste minimisation, energy efficiency and minimising water use, combining to progress our ultimate aim of achieving environmental sustainability.
