A strategic review of the group technical function has identified the need for a Head of Development
Head of Development
Reporting to the Technical Director, you will manage the Development Department, leading an enthusiastic team in the delivery of a wide variety of NPD projects as well as strategic work in relation to NPD feasibility, processing and profit-improvement while meeting tight deadlines and continuing to maintain our reputation as a leader in innovation. Our ideal candidate for this exciting role should
- - Be a highly experienced manager with proven leadership skills.
- - Have a 10 years proven NPD background in the Food Industry, ideally in food ingredients.
- - Hold an honours Degree in Food Science/Food Technology, or related science discipline.
- - Be commercially aware and able to work closely with suppliers, customers and other departments within the company
- - Be well respected within the Food Industry and have an established network of contacts.
- - Be an effective communicator with strong verbal, written and presentation skills.
- - Be innovative, creative, enthusiastic and able to develop revolutionary ideas.
Macphie of Glenbervie is based in a spectacular location, 25 miles south of Aberdeen; additionally there is a manufacturing site at Tannochside near Glasgow.
