Macphie gets into Christmas spirit with charity donations - Macphie

Following the success of last year’s Christmas appeal, Macphie collected donations of food and toys to donate to local charities just in time for the festive season.

p1020072A further collection of toys, worth £1000, was bought by the Macphie Charities Committee to donate to local Christmas campaigns including the Angus Toy Appeal, Cash for Kids Mission Christmas and the Hamilton Advertiser Toy Appeal. Employees also donated a range of gifts to help support children in need this Christmas.

The Macphie Charities Committee also donated £150 worth of food and toiletries to the Original 106 Christmas Appeal to help stock much needed food banks across north-east Scotland.

Macphie will also be running a Christmas jumper day with a charity raffle at both manufacturing sites to further raise money for local causes. Each year, Macphie donates a percentage of profit to charitable initiatives. For more information on the Macphie Charities Committee, please contact Louise Shankley.
