Macphie Graduate Programme
As a Macphie graduate you will be employed in a development role within the Macphie Commercial function and will be subject to a structured, personal development and training programme. You'll gain practical, hands-on responsibility and accountability for delegated initiatives within defined business areas in an environment supported by both line management and specialist mentoring. We will provide you with a fantastic insight into the business and the chance to develop new skills constantly covering the key Commercial disciplines
• Sales and Account Management
• Strategic/Operational Marketing
• Business Planning and Information Management
You’ll quickly see that our functions work closely together and you’ll often be part of cross-functional teams. You’ll also get involved on every level – which could mean a stint on the factory floor, or spending some time in New Product Development, for example. As well as learning on the job, you’ll be able to take advantage of many training and development opportunities, including courses which in some cases lead to professional qualifications.
As you progress, your role will get more challenging – which can mean managing larger budgets, bigger projects or more people.
The programme is all about supporting you every step of the way to management, however much of your development will be up to you, therefore you’ll need to be focused, talented and bring, drive and ambition to get where you want.
