Macphie Shares Coffee Shop Concepts

Macphie joined specialist food industry supplier, Andrew Ingredients, at the Coffee Shop Concepts event last week to show business owners innovative approaches to get customers through the door.
Taking place at Andrew Ingredients head office in Lisburn, Northern Ireland, the audience was made up of representatives from coffee shops, bakeries, food vans and sandwich shops.
The event was kick-started as Keri Cummings, Category Marketing Executive at Macphie, shared her market insight on key coffee shop trends including an increased ‘appetite for newness’ and demand for local produce. Based on industry insight, our expert chefs and bakers also provided live demonstrations using a range of different products, from Luxury Fillings to UHT sauces, to highlight how dishes can be easily enhanced to reflect seasonal trends.
