New membership is ingredient for innovation - Macphie

Macphie is tapping into some of the food industry’s top innovators with membership to the Craft Guild of Chefs. The food ingredients manufacturer became a member earlier in the year and as the industry recovers from the effects of covid-19, Macphie says businesses of all kinds must work together.

Established in 1965 as the Guild of Cookery and Food Association, the organisation aims to promote innovation and develop industry careers.

Macphie’s commercial director Warren Wells said: “Since creation, our team has strived for innovation, invention and imagination. It’s why our customers come to us and we’re trusted to deliver quality that shines through.

“It’s vital that we’re constantly finding new ways of doing things and that means having the right people exploring ideas, connecting with the pioneers of our industry and challenging standards.

“The recent pandemic has changed the way our industry operates and as we recover from its effects, we can find strength in working together. Our membership to the Craft Guild of Membership confirms our commitment to adding more value to our customers.”
