Recipe Reduced Sugar marble cake
Ingredients
- 1000g Macphie Reduced Sugar Mississippi Chocolate Muffin & Cake Mix
- 425g cold water
- 235g vegetable oil
- 1000g Macphie Reduced Sugar Mississippi Muffin & Cake Mix
- 425g cold water
- 235g vegetable oil
Method
Make up both recipes (plain and chocolate) in separate bowls following the below instructions:
Place the powder mix in a mixer fitted with a beater and add the liquids.
Mix on slow speed for 1 minute, scrape down well.
Mix on middle speed for 6 minutes.
Deposit 200g of each alternative batter into a loaf tin and then gently swirl a palette knife through to marble.
Bake at 180°C for 40 – 50 minutes.
