A new line of innovative, highly versatile melts has been launched by Macphie, the UK’s leading independent food ingredients manufacturer. The cheese-based, frozen discs allow caterers to maximise profits and add value to a host of dishes with ease, convenience and optimum portion control.

Free from artificial colours, flavours & preservatives, the frozen melts are sold in 40 x 25g packs. Four flavours - Smoky Bacon and Jack Cheese, Four Cheese and Chive, Mediterranean, and Jalapeño Chili and Jack Cheese are available. Simply place the frozen disc onto the food before it is fully cooked and oven bake or grill to 75ºC prior to serving.
