We’re looking to recruit a product development manager.
This role will oversee process of new produce development for all UHT products including sweet and savoury sauces, desserts and dairy cream alternatives as well as powder-based products.
The successful candidate will lead a team of product and process designers, ensuring commercially and operationally viable products are developed, produced and launched to plan.
Recipe for success
We’re looking for someone with a science degree, preferably in food processing, food science, food technology, chemistry or biochemistry.
Previous success in developing liquid and fat-based emulsions using UHT and aseptic processing technology and techniques within the food industry is desirable and experience of sauce development using both starch and gum-based technology would be ideal.
The successful candidate will also have a proven track record leading and developing a team of product and process technologists, to deliver projects on time and to commercial target and an understanding of HACCP, food safety and packaging solutions.
Please note, you may be required to work outside normal working hours to support pilot and factory trials and the position is based in Glenbervie, Aberdeenshire.
