This newly created role is integral to our strategy of attracting and hiring exceptional talent across the UK. As our Recruitment Business Partner, you will be at the forefront of recruitment at Macphie. This standalone, all-encompassing role reports directly to the Head of HR and is a vital part of our HR team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with leadership to execute innovative recruitment strategies that align with our core values and drive business growth. You will manage the entire recruitment lifecycle, ensuring a smooth process from sourcing and attracting exceptional candidates to successfully onboarding the best talent. Key Responsibilities:

  • Ability to execute effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent across various functions within Macphie.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, offer management and onboarding.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide expert guidance on recruitment best practices.
  • Leverage multiple sourcing channels, including social media, job boards, and FMCG networking events, to identify and engage potential candidates.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process by maintaining clear communication and providing timely feedback.
  • Oversee the pre-boarding and post-boarding, 30/60/90-day experience to ensure new hires are successfully integrated into the company.
  • Collaborate with HR to manage the exit interview process and support the business in identifying necessary changes based on feedback.
  • Monitor and analyse recruitment metrics to measure the effectiveness of hiring strategies and make data-driven decisions.
  • Partner with our ATS and Vetting providers for maintaining contracts and service delivery.
  • Maintain our partnerships with the Macphie’s Agency PSL Partners.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience within FMCG/ Manufacturing recruitment role.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices
  • Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • A passion for recruitment and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
  • Ability to work on your own and as part of a small HR team.
