Field Applications Team Manager, Neil Towse, and his family took part in The Claire House Splash Dash, a 3K ‘colour run’ in support of charity.
The family event took place on Saturday 9th July and saw runners make their way through the course whilst being covered from head-to-toe in multi-coloured powder paint.
Neil and his family raised a fantastic £255, including a £100 donation from Macphie. All money raised will go directly to Claire House Children’s Hospice, a charity set up to help terminally ill children by creating meaningful experiences and bringing a sense of normality to family life.
Each year, Macphie donates a percentage of profits to charity and employees are encouraged to take part in fundraising events. A group of Macphie employees is currently preparing to take part in Pedal for Scotland in September, a 46-mile charity cycle between Glasgow and Edinburgh.
