Macphie farm manager John Lohoar was given the prestigious task of judging Aberdeen-Angus at the recent Stirling Bull Sale. All the winners that John chose went on to fetch the best prices at the sale. Top price in the bulls was £24,000 for the champion Tonley Evor which was bought by Rae Grieve for his Carhurlie herd.
John was delighted to be chosen to judge at the event: “This is the first time I’ve been asked to judge at the Stirling Bull Sales and it was an absolute honour. Opportunities to do so don’t come along very often and I had a great day among friends”.
