Macphie has joined Scotland Against Modern Slavery (SAMS), reinforcing our commitment to ethical business practices, protecting human rights and helping to tackle modern slavery.
As a certified B Corp, we believe business has an important role to play in creating a fairer, more sustainable future. Through this partnership, we will work alongside more than 60 organisations across Scotland to raise awareness of modern slavery and human trafficking, strengthen responsible business practices and help protect those most at risk of exploitation.
SAMS supports organisations across a wide range of industries by providing guidance, training and partnership opportunities to help identify risks, protect vulnerable individuals and create safer, more informed workplaces.
With tens of thousands of people identified as potential victims of trafficking in the UK each year, and millions more affected globally, collective action from businesses is essential in addressing this hidden crime.
