Macphie is delighted to support local sporting initiative, Links Park Community Trust (LPCT), as a corporate partner for 2017.
LPCT is a registered charity based in Montrose, Angus, which utilises the power and widespread appeal of sport to inspire change. Using the facilities provided by Links Park Stadium in Montrose, and alternative venues throughout Angus and Mearns, LPCT delivers an extensive range of innovative sporting, healthy and educational programmes, designed to benefit individuals of all ages. As a result of its beneficial role in the community, the Trust was recently named ‘Social Impact Business of the Year’ at the Dundee Courier Business Awards.
The charity relies heavily on the financial support provided by its corporate partners which contributes towards future initiatives. Catherine Low from the Macphie Charities Committee commented, “Every year Macphie donates a percentage of profit to charities and community initiatives. Links Park Community Trust is a fantastic cause which positively impacts the community in which many of our employees live and we’re delighted to support. With a range of programmes, LPCT makes sport accessible to groups of all ages and abilities and we look forward to seeing more great work from the team in 2017.”
