Macphie has re launched its new Spiced Cranberry & Orange Sensation cake, as a seasonal addition to its phenomenally successful Sensations range following its successful introduction last year.
The cake mix has two fruit inclusions, one being an on-trend, dried, sweetened cranberry and the other a juicy orange fruit piece, unique to the Sensations range. In addition, it has a delicious spiced crumb, taking it from Winter through to Easter.
Jane Stork, Macphie Category Marketing Manager, said, “We see this cake as offering a very on-trend flavour profile, being more sophisticated yet having a taste that will be widely appealing. The crumb is extremely moist and moreish. In common with the other Sensation, it works in many applications and with a large variety of fillings, icings, frosting and finishings”.
Spiced Cranberry & Orange Sensation can make muffins, cupcakes and loaf cakes. In addition the batter has an improved flow, making it particularly well adapted to make tray bakes. Finishing ideas include; dusting with Sweet Snow®, drizzling with white chocolate, frosting with Cream Cheese Rainbow Frosting, sprinkling with almonds before baking and icing with 5th Avenue® White icing and NEW permanent addition Orange.
