Recipe Belgian chocolate cake jar


Ingredients
- 1kg Macphie Chocolate Genoese Mix (or Mississippi Chocolate Muffin & Cake Mix or Vegan Chocolate Cake Mix)
- 400g water
- 144g cake margarine
- Macphie o.t.t® Belgian Chocolate dessert topping
- Macphie Chocolate Sauce
- Macphie Mactop® Traditional (or Plant-based Cream Alternative or Mactop® Extra)
- Macphie Rainbow Frosting Chocolate

Method Makes 12 jars
Place 1kg of Macphie Chocolate Genoese Mix & the cake margarine into a machine bowl fitted with a beater and blend together until fully mixed through. Stream in the water and mix for 1 minute on slow speed, scrape down.
Mix for 4 minutes on medium speed and then a final minute on slow speed. Deposit batter into 800g trays and bake for approx. 30 minutes at 180°C. Once baked, cut the slab into small bite sized pieces.
Layer some Macphie Chocolate Sauce at the bottom of the jar and place some sponge pieces on top.
Spread a layer of Macphie o.t.t® Belgian Chocolate dessert topping followed by some whipped Macphie Mactop® Traditional followed by more sponge.
Repeat steps above until you reach the top and then spread on Macphie Rainbow Frosting Chocolate as a final layer & decorate as desired.
