Method Makes 12 jars

  1. Place 1kg of Macphie Chocolate Genoese Mix & the cake margarine into a machine bowl fitted with a beater and blend together until fully mixed through. Stream in the water and mix for 1 minute on slow speed, scrape down.

  2. Mix for 4 minutes on medium speed and then a final minute on slow speed. Deposit batter into 800g trays and bake for approx. 30 minutes at 180°C. Once baked, cut the slab into small bite sized pieces.

  3. Layer some Macphie Chocolate Sauce at the bottom of the jar and place some sponge pieces on top.

  4. Spread a layer of Macphie o.t.t® Belgian Chocolate dessert topping followed by some whipped Macphie Mactop® Traditional followed by more sponge.

  5. Repeat steps above until you reach the top and then spread on Macphie Chocolate Frosting as a final layer & decorate as desired.
