Recipe Belgian chocolate cake jar
Method Makes 12 jars
Place 1kg of Macphie Chocolate Celebration Cake Mix & the cake margarine into a machine bowl fitted with a beater and blend together until fully mixed through. Stream in 300g of the water and mix for 1 minute on slow speed, scrape down.
Mix for 4 minutes on medium speed and add the remaining 175g water then mix for a final 2 minutes on slow speed. Deposit batter into 18 x 30 sheets and bake for approx. 40 – 50 minutes at 180°C. Once baked, cut the slab into small bite sized pieces.
Layer some Macphie Chocolate Sauce at the bottom of the jar and place some sponge pieces on top.
Spread a layer of Macphie o.t.t® Belgian Chocolate dessert topping followed by some whipped Macphie Mactop® Traditional followed by more sponge.
Repeat steps above until you reach the top and then spread on Macphie Chocolate Frosting as a final layer & decorate as desired.
