Recipe Birthday cake with pink Anglaise
Ingredients
- Macphie Crème Anglaise
- Macphie 5th Avenue® White icing
- 1kg Macphie Celebration Mix
- 475g water
- 100g oil
- Sprinkles
- Food colouring
Method
Place Macphie Celebration Cake Mix, 300g of the water & all the oil into a machine bowl and mix for 1 min on slow speed then mix for 4 min on 2nd speed.
Place the rest of the water into the machine and mix for 2 mins on slow speed.
Blend in the coloured sprinkles and deposit into foil trays.
Bake for around 30 – 35 mins at 180°C.
Once cool decorate the cake with Macphie 5th Avenue® White icing and more sprinkles.
Mix Macphie Crème Anglaise with a small amount of red food colouring.
Once you have achieved your desired colour, heat up the pink Macphie Crème Anglaise and serve warm with a slice of birthday cake.
