Recipe Black forest cupcake
Ingredients
- 1kg Macphie Black Forest Sensation®
- Macphie Buttercream Frosting
- Purple food colouring
- Fresh cherries
- Chocolate décor
- Macphie fru-ti o.t.t® Mixed Berry dessert topping
- 350g water
- 250g vegetable oil
Method
Place the Macphie Black Forest Sensation®, water and oil into a mixing bowl fitted with a beater.
Mix on a slow speed for 1 minute then scrape down.
Mix for a further 4 minutes on middle speed.
Deposit approx. 50g of mix into cupcake cases and bake at 160°C for around 30 mins.
Once cooled remove from case.
Mix Macphie Buttercream Frosting with some purple colour and place some plain and some coloured into a piping bag.
Pipe a marble effect on the cupcake and decorate with some Macphie fru-ti o.t.t® Mixed Berry dessert topping and chocolate shavings.
