Recipe Black forest slice
Ingredients
- 1kg Macphie Black Forest Sensation®
- Cherries
- Macphie Mactop® Extra
- Chocolate
- Coco powder
- Chocolate sprinkles
- 350g water
- 250g vegetable oil
Method
Place the Macphie Black Forest Sensation®, water and oil into a mixing bowl fitted with a beater.
Mix on a slow speed for 1 minute then scrape down.
Mix for a further 4 minutes on middle speed.
Bake as a whole sheet around 2/3cm thick at 160°C for around 40 mins.
Once cooked portion into required equal lengths for a layered slice.
Between each layer spread some whipped Mactop® Extra and repeat the process. Place in the blast freezer to firm up
Once firm portion into a slice and lay down flat.
Whip some Macphie Mactop® Extra with some melted chocolate to your desired taste then pipe over the black forest slice.
Decorate with some coco powder, chocolate sprinkles and cherries.
