Recipe Cheeseburger corndog

Ingredients
- Macphie sau-ci o.t.t® Spicy Jalapeño savoury topping
- 1 smashed beef burger
- 1 onion
- 50g cheese
- 50g Frenchie's mustard
- 50g ketchup
- 250g cornmeal
- 250g plain flour
- 70g sugar
- 30g baking powder
- 5g salt
- 250ml milk
- 2 eggs

Method
To make the corn batter, combine the cornmeal, plain flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, milk and eggs. Mix to a smooth batter and keep to one side.
Finely dice the onion and cook down in a small amount of oil until soft, allow to cool before adding the smashed beef burger along with the cheese, Frenchie’s mustard and ketchup, mix well.
Form into required shape and place into the fridge to firm up.
When ready, dust the burger lightly with flour and dip into the corn batter.
Place into a pre heated deep fat fryer at 170°C and fry for 6-8 minutes.
Garnish as required and serve with Macphie o.t.t® Spicy Jalapeño savoury topping.
