Method

  1. Place Macphie Cherry Bakewell Sensation®, water & oil in a mixing bowl fitted with a beater and mix on slow speed for 1 minute, scrape down, then mix for further 4 minutes on medium speed.

  2. Pour batter into a lined tray then bake at 180°C for 40 – 45 minutes, Once cooled, cube.

  3. Whisk the Macphie Mactop® Traditional in a mixer with a whisk attachment for medium to high speed for 3-5 minutes, until 3 times the original volume.

  4. Build sundae with layers of Macphie Cherry Bakewell Sensation®, cherry compote and the whisked Macphie Mactop® Traditional.

  5. Top with Italian meringue, lightly torch and finish with a drizzle of Macphie o.t.t® Strawberry dessert topping, Enjoy!
