Recipe Cherry fruit cake
Ingredients
- 1kg Macphie Country Cake Mix
- 400g water
- 200g vegetable oil
- 200g cherries
- Macphie 5th Avenue® Pistachio Flavour Icing
- Macphie Mixed Berry Flavour Non-Hydrogenated Sweet Snow®
Method
Place Macphie Country Cake Mix into a machine bowl fitted with a paddle, add in the vegetable oil and water gradually on 1 minute on slow speed, scrape down.
Mix for 6 minutes on medium speed.
Mix for a final minute on slow. At this point add cherries.
Bake as 400g loaves at 180°C for approx. 40 mins.
Once cooked allow to cool on a wire rack.
Warm the Macphie 5th Avenue® Pistachio Flavour Icing to desired consistency, pour over the cake.
Finish with Macphie Mixed Berry Flavour Non-Hydrogenated Sweet Snow® and top with cherries.
