Method

  1. Add the Macphie Chocolate Crème Cake Mix and whole egg to a mixing bowl and beat for 3 minutes on middle speed. Add the vegetable oil and water then beat for 3 minutes on slow speed.

  2. Deposit cake mix into two prepared 8″ round cake tins.

  3. Bake at 160°C for 50-55 minutes.

  4. Melt 500g of Macphie Luxury Caramel Filling and pour over the cornflakes and mix.

  5. Whip the Macphie Mactop® Extra and add in 100g Macphie Luxury Caramel Filling and mix until fully combined.

  6. Layer the cakes with the caramel flavoured Macphie Mactop® Extra and caramel cornflake mix.

  7. Decorate the top of the cake with more caramel cornflake mix and pipe on the caramel flavoured Macphie Mactop® Extra.
