Recipe Elevated traybake
Ingredients
- Macphie Black Forest Sensation®
- Coco powder
- Macphie Sweet Snow®
- Pink colouring
- Macphie Mactop® Extra
- Chocolate
- Chocolate décor
- Cherries
- 350g water
- 250g vegetable oil
Method
Place the Macphie Black Forest Sensation®, water and oil into a mixing bowl fitted with a beater.
Mix on a slow speed for 1 minute then scrape down.
Mix for a further 4 minutes on middle speed.
Bake as a whole sheet around 2/3cm thick at 160°C for around 40 mins.
Once cooked portion into required equal lengths for a layered slice.
Between each layer spread some whipped Macphie Mactop® Extra and repeat the process. Place in the blast freezer to firm up.
Once firm portion into equal pieces, decorate with some more piped Macphie Mactop® Extra and coloured Macphie Sweet Snow® and cherries. Alternatively Dip into some melted chocolate and garnish with some chocolate shavings and coco powder.
