Recipe Festive toastie
Ingredients
- Macphie Béchamel with Butter Sauce
- Cranberry orange & miso sauce
- 100g turkey breast
- 3 roast potatoes
- 5 pigs in blankets
- 10 sprouts
- 3 stuffing balls
- 50g salted butter
- Garlic
- Thyme
- Sliced Wholemeal Sour dough
Method
In a suitable frying pan, heat olive oil over a medium heat add half the butter and bring to a foam.
Once foaming add the garlic and thyme, roast potatoes, cooked pigs and blankets and cooked sprouts. Carefully roast for a few minutes until caramelised, pour out into a bowl and pick out the thyme and garlic.
Warm the same pan to a medium heat add the remaining butter and toast the sour dough slices until golden brown.
Once golden place onto a chopping board and allow to cool slightly. Add some Macphie Béchamel with Butter Sauce on one side of each slice of toast.
Arrange the sliced turkey along one slice of toast, add the roast potatoes, pigs in blankets and sprouts.
Drizzle over cranberry orange & miso sauce, place the other slice of toast on top and cut it in half.
