Method

  1. Place all the ingredients into Hobart bowl and mix for 1 minute on 1st speed, scrape down then 3 minutes on 2nd speed.

  2. Deposit batter into greased spheres.

  3. Bake for 30 minutes at 180°C.

  4. Mix Macphie Vanilla Frosting and orange food colour.

  5. Once cooled trim off the peak to give you a flat bottom, sandwich together with orange frosting.

  6. Mask cakes with orange frosting and try to get as smooth appearance as possible.

  7. Melt chocolate and pipe into a bowl full of iced water to give a branch effect.

  8. Once dry attach a chocolate stem to each pumpkin cake.
