Recipe Ice cream cakes
Ingredients
- Macphie Plant-based Cream Alternative
- 1000g Macphie Plain Crème Cake Mix
- 350g whole egg
- 300g vegetable oil or 240g cake margarine
- 200g water
- Vanilla ice cream
- Strawberry ice cream
- Sprinkles
Method
Add egg to Macphie Plain Crème Cake Mix and mix for 3 minutes on medium speed. Scrape down and add oil and water and mix for 3 minutes on slow speed.
Deposit 800g bater into 8″ round cake tin.
Bake at 175⁰C for 45-50 minutes.
Once cool, divide into three layers.
Spread with vanilla and strawberry ice cream.
Whip Macphie Plant-based Cream Alternative and divide into three, colour two, two shades of pink.
Coat the outside of the cake with the coloured Macphie Plant-based Cream Alternative, graduating the colour to match the ice-cream.
Finish with the uncoloured whipped Macphie Plant-based Cream Alternative rosettes and sprinkles.
