Method

  1. Add Macphie Cherry Bakewell Sensation®, water and oil into a machine bowl fitted with a beater.

  2. Mix on a slow speed for 1 minute.

  3. Scrape down and continue mixing for a further 4 minutes on a medium speed.

  4. Line a 7” x 12” baking tray with sweet paste.

  5. Spread thinly with black cherry jam/pie filling.

  6. Deposit 600g of Macphie Cherry Bakewell Sensations® batter and spread evenly.

  7. Bake at 180°F (360°F) for 40 – 45 minutes.

  8. Once cooled finish with Macphie 5th Avenue® White Icing and portion to size required.
