Recipe Lemon and lavender shortbread
Ingredients
- 1kg Macphie Shortbread Mix
- 400g softened butter
- 2 x lemon zest
- Macphie Vanilla Frosting
- Purple food colouring
- Dried lavender powder
- Dried flowers to finish
Method
Mix the Macphie Shortbread Mix with the softened butter and mix to a dough, allow to rest for a few minutes before rolling to 0.5cm in thickness and cutting with a round cutter.
Place on a baking tray and bake at 150°C for 12-15 minutes until light golden brown.
Beat the Macphie Vanilla Frosting with the purple food colouring and dried lavender powder to desired flavour and colour.
Build and decorate with dried flowers.
