Recipe Lemon & Yuzu layered loaf cake
Ingredients
- 1kg Macphie Lemon Crème Cake Mix
- 350g egg
- 300g vegetable oil
- 200g water
- Yuzu juice
- 2 x Lemon zest
- Macphie Vanilla Frosting
Method
Using a machine bowl fitted with a paddle, add the egg to the Macphie Lemon Crème Cake Mix and mix for 3 minutes on medium speed. Scrape down and add oil, water and 1x lemon zest and mix for further 3 minutes on slow speed.
Deposit 2 x 800g batter into 12 x 7 baking trays (foils).
Bake at 160°C (fan oven) for 25-30 minutes.
Once cool layer and mask cake with Macphie Vanilla Frosting flavoured with lemon zest and Yuzu juice and decorate.
