Recipe Matcha Millionaires Shortbread
Ingredients
- 1kg Macphie Shortbread Mix
- 400g Softened Butter
- Macphie Luxury Caramel Filling
- 180g Dark Chocolate
- 180g White Chocolate
- 40g Rapeseed Oil
Method
Place Shortbread Mix, softened butter and 10% Matcha Tea Powder into a machine bowl fitted with a paddle.
Mix on slow speed until a stiff dough is formed.
Place into a tray around 3cm in thickness and bake at 160°C for 20 minutes.
Allow to cool.
Heat up the Macphie Luxury Caramel Filling to 55°C until fluid, deposit onto of the shortbread to flood and set.
Heat up 180g of dark chocolate with 20g of rapeseed oil and keep in a piping bag.
Heat up 180g of white chocolate with 20g of rapeseed oil and keep in a piping bag.
Whilst still hot deposit the chocolate onto of the set caramel as required and allow to set.
Portion and serve.
