Recipe Pistachio Chocolate cake
Ingredients
- 1kg Macphie Chocolate Crème Cake Mix
- 350g egg
- 200g water
- 300g vegetable oil
- 200g Macphie Panna Cotta
- 100g pistachio paste
- 100g pistachios
- 50g raspberries
Method
In a machine bowl fitted with a paddle, add the egg and the Macphie Chocolate Crème Cake Mix and beat for 1 minute on slow speed and 3 minutes on medium speed.
Add the vegetable oil and water and mix for 1 minute on slow speed. Scrape down and mix for a further 3 minutes on slow speed.
Bake at 180⁰C for 30 minutes.
Once cooled, heat the Macphie Panna Cotta until boiling point, boil for approx. 3 mins and add in the pistachio paste and mix until smooth and combined.
Pour into the suitable well until full and chill, this should take approx. 1 hour to set.
Garnish the top with pistachio drizzle, fresh raspberries and chopped pistachios.
