Method

  1. Place the Macphie Celebration Cake Mix & margarine into a machine bowl fitted with a paddle, mix for 1 minute on slow speed.

  2. Add 300g of the water and mix for 1 minute on slow speed, scrape down. Mix for a further 4 minutes on middle speed then add in the remaining 175g water then mix for a final 2 minutes on slow speed.

  3. Deposit 35g into lined paper cases and bake at 180°C for 25-30 mins.

  4. Once cupcakes are cool, pipe large swirls on top of 12 cupcakes with Macphie Vanilla Frosting.

  5. Blend Macphie Vanilla Frosting with colours to make up (pipe red frosting onto 6 cupcakes to make the hat and peach onto 5 for the face).

  6. Arrange into Santa formation and cut out circles from black pin ice for eyes and pipe on a small white bulb for pupils.
