Method

  1. Place the Macphie Red Velvet Cake Mix in a Mixing Bowl fitted with a paddle, beat on slow speed whilst gradually adding the vegetable oil, water and egg for 1 minute, scrape down.

  2. Beat for a further 3 minutes on middle speed and mix for a final minute on slow speed.

  3. Bake at 180⁰c for 40-45 minutes.

  4. Cool and cut the sponge to size.

  5. Whip the Macphie Mactop® Extra to 3 times its volume.

  6. Build the pot by layering the Macphie Red Velvet Cake, Macphie fru-ti o.t.t® Mixed Berry dessert topping and the whipped Macphie Mactop® Extra then garnish with fresh berries.
