Recipe Red berry & violet layered loaf cake
Ingredients
- 1kg Macphie Red Velvet Cake Mix
- 350g egg
- 200g water
- 300g vegetable oil
- Macphie Cream Cheese Frosting
- Violet flavouring
Method
Using a machine bowl fitted with a paddle, add the egg to the Macphie Red Velvet Cake Mix and mix for 3 minutes on medium speed. Scrape down and add oil, water and violet flavouring, mix for further 3 minutes on slow speed.
Deposit 2 x 800g batter into 12 x 7 baking trays (foils).
Bake at 160°C (fan oven) for 25-30 minutes.
Once cool layer and mask cake with Macphie Cream Cheese Frosting and decorate.
