Recipe Red Velvet Madeleines
Ingredients
- 1000g Macphie Red Velvet Cake Mix
- 220g water
- 300g oil
- 360g whole egg
- Macphie 5th Avenue® White Icing

Method
Add liquids (including egg) to Macphie Red Velvet Cake Mix in a bowl fixed with a beater and mix for 1 minute on slow speed.
Scrape down and mix for further 3 minutes on medium speed.
Deposit batter into Madeleine shapes approximately two thirds full.
Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 18-20 minutes.
Once removed from oven and cooled, finish by dipping into melted Macphie 5th Avenue® White Icing.
