Macphie recipes | Red Velvet Madeleines



  1. Add liquids (including egg) to Macphie Red Velvet Cake Mix in a bowl fixed with a beater and mix for 1 minute on slow speed.

  2. Scrape down and mix for further 3 minutes on medium speed.

  3. Deposit batter into Madeleine shapes approximately two thirds full.

  4. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 18-20 minutes.

  5. Once removed from oven and cooled, finish by dipping into melted Macphie 5th Avenue® White Icing.
