gravy
with
waffles
&
chicken

Ingredients
- 500g Macphie Plant-based White Sauce
- 500g Macphie Plant-based Demi-Glace
- 500g Macphie Complete Pancake and Waffle Mix
- 600g water
- 130g melted butter
- Battered chicken or vegan alternative
- 150g sweet corn
- 100g diced onion
- Ground pepper to taste
- 200g krispy fried kale

Method Makes 4-6 portions
- Fry onions of in a pan until softened then add the pepper and corn and fry for a further minute.
- Add the Macphie Plant-based Demi-Glace and Macphie Plant-based White Sauce and bring to the boil, stirring regularly. Then turn down heat.
- Whisk the Macphie Complete Pancake and Waffle Mix the water and melted butter until smooth.
- Heat the waffle iron then pour mixture on and cook until desired colour achieved.
- Fry or bake the chicken/vegan alternative until cooked.
- To assemble place some crispy kale on to of the waffle followed by the chicken/vegan alternative then finish by pouring the southern style gravy generously over the top.
