Method:

  1. Place 1kg of Macphie Madeira Cake Mix & the cake margarine into a machine bowl fitted with a beater and blend together until fully mixed through.

  2. Put the pink food colouring into the water. Stream in the water and mix for 1 minute on slow speed, scrape down. Mix for 4 minutes on medium speed and then a final min on slow speed. Deposit batter into 800g trays and bake for approx. 30 minutes at 180°C. Once baked, cut the slab into small bite sized pieces.

  3. Layer some freeze dried strawberry pieces at the bottom of the jar and place some sponge pieces on top. Spread a layer of Macphie o.t.t® Strawberry dessert topping, followed by some whipped Macphie Plant-based Cream Alternative followed by sponge.

  4. Repeat steps above until you reach the top and then spread a final layer of Macphie Plant-based Cream Alternative & decorate as desired.
