Recipe Strawberry dipped madeleines
Ingredients
- 1000g Macphie Celebration Cake Mix
- Macphie 5th Avenue® Strawberry Flavour Icing
- 475g water
- 100g cake margarine
Method
Place the Macphie Celebration Cake Mix & margarine into a machine bowl fitted with a paddle, mix for 1 minute on slow speed.
Add 300g of the water and mix for 1 minute on slow speed, scrape down.
Mix for a further 4 minutes on middle speed then add the remaining 175g of water.
Mix for a final 2 minutes on slow speed.
Pipe into madeleine mould and bake 160 °C fan assisted for 25-30 minutes.
Warm Macphie 5th Avenue® Strawberry Flavour Icing until pipeable but not hot, pipe into a silicone madeleine mould then place baked sponge on top.
Place in blast freezer for at least 90 minutes.
Demould, let defrost and enjoy!
