Method

  1. Soften the butter and add, along with the Macphie Shortbread Mix, into a mixing bowl attached with a paddle and slowly mix until a dough is formed, allow to rest for 2-3 minutes.

  2. Pin out to 5mm thick. Use a heart shape cutter to get shapes and a smaller heart shape cutter to cut the middles out and place on a lined baking tray.

  3. Bake for 25 minutes at 150°C for 25-30 minutes.

  4. Once cooled pipe a ring of Macphie 5th Avenue White Icing on the edges the full hearts and place the cut out hearts on top.

  5. Fill the gap with Macphie o.t.t® Strawberry dessert topping.
