Method

  1. Place the Macphie Red Velvet Cake Mix in a mixing bowl fitted with a paddle, beat on slow speed whilst gradually adding the egg, vegetable oil and water for 1 minute, scrape down

  2. Beat for a further 3 minutes on middle speed. Mix for a final minute on slow speed

  3. Bake in a large lined baking tray for 30-40 minutes on 180°C

  4. Leave to cool then cut out heart shapes with different sized heart cutters

  5. Pipe with Macphie Strawberry Frosting to make sandwiches

  6. Dust with Macphie Sweet Snow®
