Over the past 12 months, Wildfarmed has been driven by growing consumer insight, environmental urgency, and the opportunity to transform a broken food system. With soils degraded, biodiversity declining, and a heavy reliance on chemicals, they’ve focused on proving that regenerative agriculture can work at scale.

They have scaled up to create a consumer-facing range that supports our soil health with a supply chain that benefits all.  They have partnered with leading academic and commercial organisations—such as AgriSound, the University of Bristol, University of Edinburgh, Nature Metrics and Chirrup.ai—to measure biodiversity, carbon, water health, and social impact. This includes monitoring the return of birds, bugs, and bees to our fields, and assessing the positive effects on water quality and ecosystems.

They are working with 150+ growers, 1000+ partners and available in 3+ national retailers—supported by growing consumer demand for regenerative products – progress has been made on two fronts: commercial growth and academic validation.

One of the judges said “they are not only raising awareness of regenerative agriculture through pushing its adoption, engaging with business of all sizes and educating all sectors of society, they are also making it cool”.

Looking to the future their aim is to show that Wildfarmed fields consistently outperform conventional ones, reinforcing their credibility and strengthening consumer trust.   We are looking forward to seeing where the future takes Wildfarmed, as well as the other finalists in the sustainability category: GAIL’s, The Compleat Food Group, Prowrap Ltd and Eurostar Commodities.  Read more about all of the entries in the category here.
