Recipe Christmas biscuits
Ingredients
- 1kg Macphie Shortbread Mix
- 400g butter
- Green-coloured icing
- Christmas decorations
- Macphie 5th Avenue® White Icing
- Red food colouring
Method
Soften the butter and add, along with the Macphie Shortbread Mix, into a mixing bowl attached with a paddle and slowly mix until a dough is formed.
Allow to rest for 2-3 minutes.
Pin out to 5mm thick.
Use a Christmas Tree shape cutter to get shapes, if you are creating hanging biscuits punch a hole in the top
Place on a lined baking tray.
Bake for 25-30 minutes at 150°C.
Once cooled, apply the green-coloured icing.
Mix red food colouring with Macphie 5th Avenue® White Icing, use to decorate, then add Christmas decorations.
