Haggis Wellington sausage roll - Macphie



  1. Add the water and Macphie Meat-free Sausage Roll Concentrate into a mixing bowl fitted with a paddle and blend on a slow speed for 1 minute. Add in the sausage meat and haggis, mix until fully incorporated.

  2. Lay out cling film, lay out the Parma ham and spread the Duxelles thinly over the top. Lay the sausage mix down the centre and fold over the Parma ham/Duxelles, using the clingfilm to assist. Wrap tightly and place into the fridge.

  3. Lay out the puff pastry and unwrap the sausage mix. Brush the puff pastry with Macphie GlenGlaze® and wrap the pastry around tightly, seal and roll over ensuring the seal is underneath. Brush with more Macphie GlenGlaze®.

  4. Place into a pre heated oven at  200°C for 15 minutes. Drop to 180°C  for the final 35 minutes.

  5. Serve with Macphie Demi-Glace.
