Recipe Opera cake

Ingredients
- Macphie Rainbow Frosting Chocolate
- Macphie Rainbow Frosting Vanilla
- Macphie Luxury Salted Caramel Filling
- Dark & coloured glaçage
- Chocolate cake layer: 1kg Macphie Mississippi Chocolate Muffin & Cake Mix
- 435g water
- 250g vegetable oil
- Toffee cake layer: 1kg Macphie Mississippi Toffee Muffin & Cake Mix
- 425g water
- 235g vegetable oil
- Plain cake layer: 1kg Macphie Mississippi Muffin & Cake Mix
- 425g of water
- 235g of Vegetable oil

Method
For each of the cake layers in turn, place the ingredients into a bowl fitted with a paddle, beat for 1 minute on slow speed, scrape down. Beat for 6 minutes on middle speed. Deposit into trays as required. Bake at 180°C for 45-50 minutes.
Once the sponges are cool slice them using a harp, so they are evenly cut.
Place a layer of chocolate sponge on the bottom of the tray, followed by a layer of Macphie Rainbow Frosting Vanilla.
As each layer is added gently press down ensuring even layers area achieved.
Place a layer of Macphie Mississippi Toffee Muffin & Cake Mix followed by Macphie Luxury Salted Caramel Filling. Finally place a layer of Macphie Mississippi Muffin & Cake Mix followed by Macphie Rainbow Frosting Chocolate.
Once set & cold, top with dark & coloured glaçage.
