Recipe Peach & honey Dutch babies
Ingredients
- 500g Macphie Complete Pancake and Waffle Mix
- Macphie Sweet Snow®
- 600g Water
- Peaches
- Honey
- Vanilla
- Star anise
- Cloves
- Cinnamon
- Butter
Method
Cut peaches into halves and place into a heavy tray.
Drizzle with honey and place butter, vanilla, star anise, cloves & cinnamon into the tray with the peaches and roast for approximately 30 minutes until soft.
In a bowl mix together Macphie Complete Pancake and Waffle Mix and water and mix until a smooth batter is obtained.
Preheat skillet in the oven at 220°C.
Once hot place butter into skillet and grease around bottom and sides.
Place measured amount of batter into the skillet and place back into the oven at 220°C for 20 minutes.
Once cooked, place cooked peaches and syrup into the Dutch babies and dust with Macphie Sweet Snow®.
